The beverage industry in Canada works collaboratively and globally to fight plastic waste
Beverage companies have committed to make all plastic packaging 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025 as part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Initiative.
We also support “Closed Loop Partners”, which is a North American investment platform that is advancing the development of recycling technologies and sustainable packaging.
The beverage sector is supporting Circulate Capital – which is an organization investing in companies, innovation and infrastructure projects that prevent plastic from entering the ocean.
